Pro Auto Services – Dashcam Fitting Terms & Conditions

Pro Auto Services provides mobile dashcam installation services at customers’ homes or workplaces.

Services include front and rear dashcam camera installation, hardwiring, setup, and basic operational guidance.

1. Booking & Cancellation

Appointments must be booked in advance via Phone or Text-Whats App.

​All Appointments will have a deposit taken prior , Date and time of installation will only be booked once a deposit has been taken.

Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee of £25.

Pro Auto Services reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to weather, traffic delays, or unforeseen circumstances.

2. Access & Vehicle Requirements

Customers must provide safe and legal access to the vehicle, whether at home or work.

Vehicles must have a functioning battery and no electrical faults.

We are not responsible for delays due to issues with customer-supplied equipment or vehicle conditions.

3. Customer-Supplied Dashcams

We can install customer-provided dashcams, but do not provide warranties for third-party products or be liable for any damage caused by the equipment provided by the customer.

If a customer-supplied device is faulty or incompatible, a call-out charge may still apply.

If a used Dash cam is provided by the customer they will provide all the wiring and adhesive pads for the windscreen. We recommend you get the same brand as the dash cam, wiring and adhesive pads as recommend by the dash cam manufacturers.

4.Warranty & Liability

All installations come with a 30 day workmanship warranty, we don’t give or imply any warranty for products supplied by the customer.

Pro Auto Services is not liable for any damage caused by the dashcam itself or improper use of the system post-installation.

Warranty excludes tampering, unauthorised removal, or water damage due to poor vehicle condition.

We don’t offer any money back Guarantee’s. Once we fit your products which are supplied by you.

Dash cams supplied by the customers are under warranty from the location they are  purchased from and not us.

It is Customers own responsibility to register there own dash cams and equipment’s fitted to there vehicles for warranty purposes.

We are not going to take any responsibility for lights on the dash board check engine  Etc, We are not responsible for car air bags if the customer states or requires us to fit the dash cam differently from our normal high standards

5. Electrical System Disclaimer

While care is taken, installation may involve working with the vehicle’s electrical system. Customers acknowledge that modern electronics can be sensitive, and minor issues may arise.

Pro Auto Services is not liable for pre-existing faults or unrelated vehicle issues that may occur post-installation.

6. Data & Privacy

We do not access or retain any video recordings. Customers are responsible for data stored on their dashcams.

It is the customer’s responsibility to comply with local laws regarding video/audio recording.

7. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full before completion unless otherwise agreed.

Accepted Methods: Cash, Debit Card Payment’s and Bank Transfers only we no longer Accept Credit Card Payment’s.

Receipts are provided upon request.

Customers are required to make sure all payments are made prior installation.

8. Limitation of Liability

Pro Auto Services shall not be held liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data, use of vehicle, or business interruption.

9. Removal of Existing Dashcams

We no longer remove dash cams fitted by other companies, we only remove dash cams previously fitted by us. Due to complexity.

If we are requested to remove a previously installed dashcam ProAutoServices accepts no responsibility for any damage caused during the removal process, including but not limited to damage to trims, wiring, or the windscreen.

It is the customer’s responsibility to remove any existing dashcam from the windscreen prior to our visit. If Pro Auto Services is asked to perform the removal, the customer acknowledges and accepts that any damage incurred, including potential damage to the glass, mounts, or adhesives, is at their own risk.

10. “Customers responsibility “

Please make sure on the day of installation there will be sufficient free parking for our vehicle and sufficient safe space around your vehicle.

We can not install Dash Cams on the road for safety reasons.
